It's the official World Cup football right? It should cost more ;P Seen the event? It's bloody crazy. The atmosphere is amazingly superior to any other event. Shows how respected the FIFA World Cup is; and so is the ball.
I wonder what it feels like to kick something that costs $2.5 million (if I was rich enough, I'd buy it just to give it a kick).
It shows how much effort they're really putting into relief efforts in third world countries. They'd waste diamonds and millions of dollars on a ball that's to be kicked by thousands of people around a dirty grass field, instead of spending that much money building homes and possibly feeding hundreds of families for years.
lol, it's not actually being used as a football. Think of it more as an ornament. You'd have to be pretty insane (like me) to kick a $2.5 million ball. Anyway, I agree that too much money is being put into Fooball/Soccer and sports in General, when the money could be used in so many better ways.

Agreed buddy it's happening all over the world ,and not only for soccer.In India cricket is famous, wasting lot of money on it .
