2) He stood there. He wasn't behind. He didn't challenge anything. The red card is what we (Barcelona fans) are raging on about. The penalty I can understand from the Ref's point of view, however to push it to a red card is out of this world. If the ref saw the 'foul' clearly, it wouldn't have been a penalty nor a card. And then to have Fabregas to complain about it, I'm pissed at. What a cheat. He was in the position, he could have just walked away rather than argue for the penaly. If that hadn't have happened; if the Barcelona CAPTAIN hadn't been sent off, we would have thrashed Arsenal at their own stadium. They should have shame. Anyway, in two weeks time, Arsenal have lost Arshavin, Fabregas, Gallas and one more... due to injuires and crap. And it's at Camp Nou. 30,000 more fans, at our very own home. Barcelona are going to get revenge, mark my words.
You can hope all you want, but with the players they've lost, I'd say it's 90% chance that Barcelona will pwn.
Barcelona has very good players but also has a lot of luck. I still can't get the World Club's final last year. Estudiantes was winning 1-0 and minute 90 Pedro tied the game. Barcelona was playing better, but that was just luck. I feel sorry for ELP now
Meh. Chelsea are already out of the Champions League, so I couldn't care less. But the further Man Utd and Arsenal go in the Champions League, the better for Chelsea in the Premier League.
Well, you'll be missing your two defensive players, Puyol and Pique. That's going to be a big weakness. Also, I don't think you've been watching Rooney this season... Anyway, Chelsea vs Man U today, we're using the same team that thrashed Villa 7-1, let's hope it works again.
I've heard that Arsenal have lost Arshavin, Fabregas (obviously ) and Gallas. Three amazing players, I must admit, all gone. And we're at home, OUR HOME. Imagine the massacre from Barcelona!
Imbrahimovic? Or do you mean Ibrahimovic, who is on a completely different level to any of Arsenal's strikers? (I won't even mention Spurs' strikers...)
Chelsea 2 - 1 Man U. Too good, Chelsea! Drogba's goal was offside, but Macheda's goal was a handball, so that evens it out. We dominated for at least 60 minutes, so we deserved to win anyway. Man U looked so bad without Rooney. Looks like they are a one-man team.
I always new Man U was a one-man team. When they had Ronaldo, it was a two-man team. I like Ronaldo before he came to Man U, but ever since he played for Man U, I've always hated him. Stupid show-off.
With 5 games left, Chelsea are going to win the title for sure. That is, unless we fail to win easy games.
Yeah the ref was so bad for that game, for both sides. Well we have before, in fact all the top teams have dropped points against easy sides before, so I'm not getting complacent. One result could swing it all against our favour.
Let's look at the upcoming matches for Chelsea and Man U (disregard Arsenal, cos they've got no chance ): Man U vs Blackburn Chelsea vs Bolton Both Chelsea and Man U should have comfortable wins. Man U vs Man City Chelsea vs Tottenham Tough matches for both sides who are both away. A vital round for both sides. Man U vs Tottenham Chelsea vs Stoke Chelsea should win at home, and Man U should win at home also, but it's going to be a tough match for them. Man U vs Sunderland Chelsea vs Liverpool Man U should beat Sunderland, and Chelsea will have a contest on their hands away at Anfield. Man U vs Stoke Chelsea vs Wigan Both sides should have comfortable wins. Looking at this, if Man U beat Tottenham at home, and Chelsea lose away against Liverpool, then Man U should win the title. However, I know they won't, cos they're a one man team.
Good point there, but that's like saying, 'For the Skate It thread, we should start talking about the skating competitions' or some stuff like that.
