East of Basingstoke, near Hook. Haha, what a coincidence. I go to Festival Place cinema as well. Wow, we might have seen each other. That's freaky.
Hmm, bit of a sore point that one. We've added more commentary in, yes. Whether it has improved or not is debatable.
Oh ok, I guess I'm used to FIFA's. But I have a good feeling about this one, can't wait for online play! Make sure your servers are ready to take the overload of users!
well, it will take us a long time to match them on that front. Yeah, we're feeling good about it too, we saw Apple this afternoon and they are pumped for it. I bet you lot take the server down in less than a week though...
I disagree. Commentary of X2 Football 2009 was decent, well, at least it was better than FIFA 10's anyway. Names of well-known players (and all of England's players ) were read out, while they weren't in FIFA's.
Hmm... I don't know. What's the price tag again? If it's too expensive, I doubt we'll see too many players online.
Yeah that's the sort of bias X2 might suffer due to the devs being English. I'm quite sure the stats for england players and england club teams are overrated.
PES 2010 heading to Appstore: CONFIRMED! After teasing (non-FIFA) football lovers the world over with its recent blog post , Konami has formally announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will be kicking off on iPhone and iPod touch next month. Timed to coincide with a little get-together over in South Africa this summer, PES 2010 marks the legendary series' home debut on the Apple handsets. "To bring a game as complex and as playable as PES 2010 to iPhone and iPod touch has been a daunting challenge, but one that has paid off," commented Axel de Rougé, producer of PES 2010 for iPhone, (as well as the Java versions). "We have been working to ensure that all the slick moves not to mention strong AI and aesthetic touches associated with the series have been recreated." The iPhone/iPod touch version has been created by Konami's Paris development studio, who promise stunning 3D visuals and a bespoke, innovative control system. Hopefully then, fluent passing, first-time shots, and mazy runs à la Barcelona can all be mastered without too much trouble a gripe often levelled at rival footy games on the iPhone. PES 2010 will include a UEFA Champions League game mode. Of less note is the inclusion of the UEFA Europa League licence apologies to both you Fulham fans. There's no mention yet of multiplayer options though, nor of in-game commentary and Master League mode. So soon the round robin for soccer supremacy on the App Store can finally kick off: PES 2010 v FIFA 10 v Real Football 2010 v X2 Football 2010, plus a few dozen more... PES 2010 will be available on iPhone in June for an undisclosed price (my money's on £5.99 and Spain). http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Pro+Evolution+Soccer+2010/news.asp?c=20441
PES has always and will always be shit. its an arcade take of football and has never been realistic, at least compared to FIFA
