If you have not noticed yet, youtube video playback pages is complaetly different. in my opinion, it terrible, its so boring looking, the new rating system sucks, and many other things. What does everyone else think?
I hate it. I like the way that you can auto play any playlist, including your favorites, but the new layout is extremely weird. Plus, I miss the 1-5 star ratings. It always alerted me to an impending Rick Roll. It just feels weird though, and I really got used to the old layout. I remember they did this once a few weeks ago just on IE8, but changed it back after a day. I hope this one isn't permanent either.
I agree, they say the layout is to declutter the interface. but its so weird, i really hope this isnt permant the old inferface was perfect.
I honestly never noticed any clutter. It was completely fine the way it was. Man, it's just like Facebook. They need to learn that it was fine the way it was, and to stop changing it unexpectedly. I do hope that they keep the autoplaylists if they change back, that could be pretty convenient.
i hate it. what was so bad about the old one? and the fact that they change it often is really hard to get used to. first the new channel(though that wasn't too bad), then the new homepage, then a newer homepage, and now a new video page...
i like some of the new features that were added, particularly in the notations editing menu, but the interface as a whole is kind of sloppy and confusing, and the autoplay is obnoxious. And is it just me, or is youtube down right now? http://www.youtube.com
No, I just loaded up White Walls (part 2) fine. Double check your connection I guess, since that might sometimes be the issue. And yeah, I couldn't agree more on the first part.
I didnt notice any clutter either. The old inferface was orginized and eeasy to use. Why the heck did youtube (insert curse word) change it.
Yup, I hate it. Especially the new rating system. And also the thumb up/down system for the comments has gone . edit - I just got a message saying that they are doing some site maintenance. Maybe they'll change/add features later.
